Where did the time go?

It is December. Already.

I decided to take a “little” break from blogging, but it turned out to be longer than anticipated. My intentions to get back to Whiskers in the Sink were good but my follow through, well, not so much.

So what has been happening here? So much that I’m not sure I can even remember!

We were able to take our annual road trip vacation and chose Colorado as our destination of choice. We love, love, love that state! And though we were in some of the most beautiful places on earth, we weren’t able to enjoy it as much as hoped. More on that later. We also took a trip down to Tennessee to see my family. And, we’ve been to Iowa a few times to visit Mr. Honey’s family as well.

Little Bear is now 10 months old. She crawls all over the place and is trying to pull herself up. I think standing and walking is just around the corner. She loves her stuffed animals and gives them kisses (bites) on the noses every day. She has three teeth and is eating “solids.” Her favorite food continues to be bananas, but she also loves sweet potatoes, quinoa, plums, mangoes, cherries, apples, zucchini, crook-neck squash, winter squash, green beans, peas, carrots, asparagus, blueberries… I think we are just about hitting every color of the rainbow with her diet, and that is a good thing.

Right now we going full speed ahead on getting the house baby proofed, getting ready for Christmas, keeping up on home projects, and working. In my mind, that is enough.
